PayPal (Europe) started its career as a credit institution in Luxembourg in 1993. PayPal became known when it joined eBay, the great and famous American online auction giant in 2002. Since then PayPal has been situated in California, USA and has been called PayPal Inc. PayPal is used in about 190 countries for shopping and sending money. (in 18 currencies) Why is PayPal good and why do we use PayPal for online financial transactions? The answer lies in its simplicity and security. It is true that online paying by credit card might be the most rapid and safe, yet the customers were not happy for giving out their credit card details to each unknown website. In this regard, PayPal is somewhere between the customer-dealer having a based capital and authenticity. It is enough to open an account at PayPal, then sign up by giving your personal data (even credit card number, if neccesary). It is enough to give your unique -email address for financial transactions later. When shopping, enter the PayPal e-mail address, which navigates you to your Paypal account. Here you only have to confirm the transaction and the rest will be carried out for you in the background. A general error on most of the PayPal sites is that PayPal is called electronic bank. PayPal is not a bank! It is only a kind of secure online financial mediatory.

When the PayPal site appears click on the text with yellow background named Sign Up Today. Then choose Hungary by using the drop-down menu.

Then choose Hungary by using the drop-down menu. This activates another site where you can choose an account type. I suggest that you choose the Personal Account instead of the Business Account as this also can have everything we need for this work.

Please select an account then click on Continue.

Click on the yellow link within the e-mail which says Click here to activate your account. Your PayPal account has been activated!

Please enter your password then click on Continue. The e-mail address showing up will be your PayPal e-mail address. You can have access to your PayPal account by entering this e-mail address and password only! When logged in you will see your account balance that will contain 0 HUF at the time of account opening.

You can exit by clicking on Log out in the upper right corner.
